What does a HomeUpgrade.ie lead include?＋

Each lead includes the homeowner’s name and contact details, county, property type, build era, BER rating (where known), current heating system, the SEAI grants they likely qualify for, the work they want done, and their budget and timeline where provided. All shared with the homeowner’s explicit consent.

How is this different from buying leads elsewhere?＋

Every lead has completed a six-step grant eligibility check before requesting installer contact, so grant route, home age and BER are pre-resolved. Leads are exclusive to a small number of matched contractors (maximum three), never blasted to a large panel.

Do I need to be SEAI-registered?＋

Yes, for grant-funded measures. We verify your SEAI registration number against the register before sharing homeowner contact details. Works completed by non-registered contractors permanently disqualify the homeowner’s grant, so registration is non-negotiable for grant work.

What if a lead doesn’t answer or turns out to be invalid?＋

If a lead’s contact details are wrong or the homeowner is unreachable after reasonable attempts, we replace it from your pack at no extra cost. Tell us within 7 days of receiving the lead.

Can I cancel the county partner subscription?＋

Yes — it’s a monthly Stripe subscription with no minimum term. Cancel anytime and you keep access until the end of the paid month.

How do I get the free sample lead?＋

Register your details in the form on this page. Once we’ve confirmed your SEAI registration and county coverage, we’ll send the next matching homeowner enquiry in your area as a free sample so you can judge the quality yourself.
